Loss of the RMP1 and RMP2 Displays

3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 23-13-00-710-057-A

A. Test
(1) Make sure that the circuit breakers (2RG1) and (2RG2) are closed.
(2) On RMP1 (1RG1) and RMP2 (1RG2), make sure that the ON/OFF switches are set to ON.
(3) Make sure that the RMP1 (1RG1) and RMP2 (1RG2) displays are defective.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-13-00-810-102-A

A. If the test confirms the fault:

On RMP1 (1RG1) and RMP2 (1RG2), set the ON/OFF switches to OFF.
Open the circuit breakers (2RG1) and (2RG2) and wait for 5 seconds.
Close the circuit breaker (2RG1).
On RMP1 (1RG1), set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

(1) If the RMP1 (1RG1) displays are defective:

Remove RMP1 (1RG1) AMM 23-13-13-000-001.
Close the circuit breaker (2RG2).
On RMP2 (1RG2), set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

(2) If the RMP2 (1RG2) displays are on:

Replace RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 [1RG1] AMM 23-13-13-000-001 and AMM 23-13-13-400-001.
Close the circuit breaker (2RG1).
On RMP1 (1RG1), set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

(3) If the RMP1 (1RG1) displays are defective:

Remove RMP1 (1RG1) AMM 23-13-13-000-001.
Do a check and repair the wiring for a short to ground at RMP1 (1RG1) pin <R ASM 238102.
Do a check and repair the wiring for a short to ground at RMP1 (1RG1) pin <S ASM 238102.
Do a check and repair the wiring for a short to ground at RMP1 (1RG1) pin <P ASM 238101.
Do a check and repair the wiring for a short to ground at RMP1 (1RG1) pin <Q ASM 238102.
Install RMP1 (1RG1) AMM 23-13-13-400-001.
