A. Job Set-Up
On the RMP 1 and RMP 2 only, make sure that the ON/OFF switches are at ON.
Subtask 23-13-00-740-084-A
B. Test
Do the BITE test of the Radio Management AMM 23-13-00-740-001.
NOTE: Do this test for the RMP 1 and RMP 2.

B. If the tests give the two maintenance messages
RMP2(1RG2)/RMP1(1RG1)
RMP2(1RG2):
  • do a check of the circuit breaker (2RG2) status.
   (1) If the circuit breaker (2RG2) is closed:
  • do a check for 28VDC at pin A/N of the RMP 2 (1RG2) ASM 231301.
     (a) If there is 28VDC:
     (b) If there is no 28VDC:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pin A/R of the RMP 2 (1RG2) ASM 231301.
1 If there is no ground signal:
  • repair the wiring between the RMP 2 (1RG2) pin A/R and the ground terminal ASM 231301.
2 If there is a ground signal:
  • do a check of the wiring between the RMP 2 pin A/N and the circuit breaker (2RG2) ASM 231301.
a If there is no continuity:
  • repair the above wiring.
         b If there is continuity:
  • replace the circuit breaker (2RG2).
   (2) If the circuit breaker (2RG2) is open:
  • close it.
     (a) If it opens again:
       1 If the fault continues:
  • do a check for a short to ground at the wiring between the RMP 2 (1RG2) pin A/N and the circuit breaker (2RG2) ASM 231301.
a If there is a short to ground:
  • repair the related wiring.
b If there is no short to ground:
  • replace the C/B-COM NAV/RMP/2 [2RG2] .
     (b) If the circuit breaker stays closed and the fault continues:
Subtask 23-13-00-740-085-A
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
