A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

B. Job Set-up
On the RMP 1 only, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is at ON.

C. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the HF system AMM 23-11-00-740-001.

NOTE: Do this test for the HF 1 only.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-13-00-810-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message HF 1 : NO DATA FROM CONTROL SOURCE:

replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 [1RG1] AMM 23-13-13-000-001 and AMM 23-13-13-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring of the COM 1 DATA OUTPUT signal, (from RMP 1 (1RG1) pins A/<P, <Q to the first terminal block) ASM 231302.

Subtask 23-13-00-810-061-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message RMP1/2/3 (1RG1/2/3)/HF1 (3RE1):

replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 [1RG1] AMM 23-13-13-000-001 and AMM 23-13-13-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring of the COM 1 DATA OUTPUT signal (from RMP 1 (1RG1) pins A/p, q to the first terminal block) ASM 231302.
