B. Job Set-up
On the RMP 2 only, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is at ON.
Subtask 23-13-00-740-066-A On the RMP 2 only, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is at ON.
C. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the VHF system AMM 23-12-00-740-001.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Do the BITE test of the VHF system AMM 23-12-00-740-001.
NOTE: Do this test for the VHF 3 only.
Subtask 23-13-00-810-058-F
A. If the test confirms the fault:
Subtask 23-13-00-740-067-A - Replace the XCVR-VHF, 3 [1RC3] AMM 23-12-33-000-001 and AMM 23-12-33-400-001.
- Replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 [1RG2] AMM 23-13-13-000-001 and AMM 23-13-13-400-001.
- Do a check and repair the wiring of the FREQ SELECT INPUT PORT B signal (from the VHF 3 transceiver (1RC3) pins AB/7A, 7B to the RMP 2 (1RG2) pins A/<P, <Q) ASM 231302.
