A. Test
   (1) Do the BITE test of the VHF system AMM 23-12-00-740-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-12-00-810-122-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message RMP1/2(1RG1/2/VHF0(1RC0):
   (1) For VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1):
  • Do a check and repair the pins socket of VHF 1 SDI Hard Pin Programming:
    AB/9A open and AB/9B to 9C ASM 231201.
     (a) If the fault continues:
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1) to RMP 2 (1RG2) of the FREQ SEL PORT B signal pins AB/7A, 7B to pins A/<P, <Q ASM 231201.
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) to RMP 1 (1RG1) of the FREQ SEL PORT A signal pins AB/11A, 11B to pins A/<P, <Q ASM 231201.
   (2) For VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2):
  • Do a check and repair the pins socket of VHF 2 SDI Hard Pin Programming:
    AB/9A to 9C and AB/9B open ASM 231202.
     (a) If the fault continues:
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) to RMP 1 (1RG1) of the FREQ SEL PORT B signal pins AB/7A, 7B to pins A/<R, <S ASM 231202.
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) to RMP 2 (1RG2) of the FREQ SEL PORT A signal pins AB/11A, 11B to pins A/<R, <S ASM 231201.
   (3) For VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3):
  • Do a check and repair the pins socket of VHF 3 SDI Hard Pin Programming:
    AB/9A to 9C and AB/9B to 9C ASM 231203.
     (a) If the fault continues:
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring from VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3) to RMP 2 (1RG2) of the FREQ SEL PORT B signal pins AB/7A, 7B to pins A/<P, <Q ASM 231203.
