   (1) Not applicable, the fault is evident.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
   (1) Replace the VHF transceiver for which the fault occurred:
   (2) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.

B. If the fault continues:
Do a check and repair the wiring of the VHF transceiver for which the fault occurred.
   (1) For the VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1):
     (a) Remove the VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1) AMM 23-12-33-000-001.
     (b) Remove the AMU (1RN) AMM 23-51-34-000-001.
     (c) Do a check and repair if necessary the wiring from:
  • the VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1) pin AB/15A to the AMU (1RN) pin AA/1A
  • the VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1) pin AB/15B to the AMU (1RN) pin AA/1B
    ASM 235106, ESPM 205221 and ESPM 205321.
     (d) Install the VHF transceiver 1 (1RC1) AMM 23-12-33-400-001.
     (e) Install the AMU (1RN) AMM 23-51-34-400-001.
     (f) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.
   (2) For the VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2):
     (a) Remove the VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) AMM 23-12-33-000-001.
     (b) Remove the AMU (1RN) AMM 23-51-34-000-001.
     (c) Do a check and repair if necessary the wiring from:
  • the VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) pin AB/15A to the AMU (1RN) pin AA/2B
  • the VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) pin AB/15B to the AMU (1RN) pin AA/2A
    ASM 235106, ESPM 205221 and ESPM 205321.
     (d) Install the VHF transceiver 2 (1RC2) AMM 23-12-33-400-001.
     (e) Install the AMU (1RN) AMM 23-51-34-400-001.
     (f) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.
   (3) For the VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3):
     (a) Remove the VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3) AMM 23-12-33-000-001.
     (b) Remove the AMU (1RN) AMM 23-51-34-000-001.
     (c) Do a check and repair if necessary the wiring from:
  • the VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3) pin AB/15A to the AMU (1RN) pin AA/3A
  • the VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3) pin AB/15B to the AMU (1RN) pin AA/3B
    ASM 235106, ESPM 205221 and ESPM 205321.
     (d) Install the VHF transceiver 3 (1RC3) AMM 23-12-33-400-001.
     (e) Install the AMU (1RN) AMM 23-51-34-400-001.
     (f) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
