A. Test
Do the operational test of the VHF system AMM 23-12-00-710-001.
Subtask 23-12-00-875-061-A Do the operational test of the VHF system AMM 23-12-00-710-001.
NOTE: Do the transmission test for more than 30 s and less than 40 s to see the ECAM warning on the upper ECAM DU.
(The COM VHF 3 EMITTING message comes into view after 30 s of continuous transmission. It is then replaced by the COM SINGLE PTT STUCK message after 40 s of continuous transmission).
(The COM VHF 3 EMITTING message comes into view after 30 s of continuous transmission. It is then replaced by the COM SINGLE PTT STUCK message after 40 s of continuous transmission).
NOTE: Do this test at each crew station to find which station is related with the failure.
NOTE: Do this test for the VHF 3 system only.
NOTE: At the end of the test (before you do the fault isolation procedure), make sure that these controls are not in the transmit position:
- The VHF 3 transmission pushbutton switch on an audio control panel
- A radio PTT switch on one of the two side sticks
- A radio PTT pushbutton switch
- A hand mike selector.
