A. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the HF system AMM 23-11-00-740-001.

NOTE: Do this test for the HF 1 only.

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message HF1: CHECK HF ANTENNA COUPLER:

(1) If the fault continues:

Remove the HF 1 coupler
Make sure that there is continuity on the feedline between the HF 1 coupler (4RE1) and the HF antenna (5RE) ASM 231101.
Replace the [6RE1] AMM 23-11-37-000-001 and AMM 23-11-37-400-001.
Install the HF 1 coupler.

A. If the test gives the maintenance message HF1 CPLR (4RE1)/FEEDER (6RE1)/ANTENNA (5RE)

(1) If the fault continues:

Remove the HF 1 coupler
Make sure that there is continuity on the feedline between the HF 1 coupler (4RE1) and the HF antenna (5RE) ASM 231101.
Replace the FEEDER-HF, 1 [6RE1] AMM 23-11-37-000-001 and AMM 23-11-37-400-001.
Install the HF 1 coupler.
