A. Test
   (1) On the panels 49VU and 121VU, open (from more than 5 seconds) and close the circuit breaker 10CA1 and 10CA2 respectively.
   (2) Do the Operational Test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 22-83-00-810-176-A
A. If the test does not give maintenance message (and if investigation is required):
   (1) If the Post Flight Report (PFR) fault message is recorded during flight phase 4 or 9:
  • no maintenance action is necessary.
   (2) If the Post Flight Report (PFR) fault message is not recorded during flight phase 4 or 9:
  • get access to the AFS/TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA/BITE SELECTION and do a check of the result for the FM (1 and 2), FG1 (COM & MON) and FG2 (COM & MON) system parts by pressing the corresponding prompt:
     (a) If there is no TSD dated from the same date/time as the PFR message:
  • no maintenance action is necessary.
     (b) If there is TSD(s) dated from the same date/time as the PFR message:
       1 for FG TSD(s):
  • print any associated TSD for FG1 (COM & MON)/FG2 (COM & MON) system parts and send it back to Airbus for subsequent analysis.
  • no further maintenance action is necessary.
       2 for FM TSD(s):
  • print the associated TSD for FM (1 and 2) system parts and send it back to Airbus for subsequent analysis.
  • download the FM (1 and 2) BITE data AMM 22-70-00-610-006
  • no further maintenance action is necessary.

B. If the test gives one or several maintenance messages:
  • do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
