A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : FQIC (ISSUED BY : FM1):
(1) Do the interrogation of the (SMITHS INDUSTRIES) FQIS Trouble Shooting Data AMM 28-42-00-740-007.
(a) If there is no fault codes:
1 Replace the FMGC-1 [1CA1] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:

Do a check and repair the wiring of the FQI bus from the FMGC 1 (1CA1) to the first terminal block ASM 228601.

(b) If there is one of fault codes (4L, 4M, 5L, 5M, 6J, 6K):
1 Replace the FQIC [3QT] AMM 28-42-34-000-001 and AMM 28-42-34-400-001.

B. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : FQIC (ISSUED BY : FM2):
(1) Do the interrogation of the (SMITHS INDUSTRIES) FQIS Trouble Shooting Data AMM 28-42-00-740-007.
(a) If there is no fault codes:
1 Replace the FMGC-2 [1CA2] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.
2 If the fault continues:

Do a check and repair the wiring of the FQI bus from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block ASM 228601.

(b) If there is one of fault codes (4L, 4M, 5L, 5M, 6J, 6K):
1 Replace the FQIC [3QT] AMM 28-42-34-000-001 and AMM 28-42-34-400-001.
