A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001 and read the result for the FAC 1.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Do the operational test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001 and read the result for the FAC 1.
Subtask 22-83-00-810-070-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: FMGC 1:
(a) Get access to the AFS MAIN MENU page and, on this page, push the line key related to the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA indication.
(b) On the AFS/TROUBLE SHOOTING/BITE SELECTION page you get, push the line key related to FM 1 or/and FM 2.
(c) On the AFS/TROUBLE SHOOTING page you get, do the check that follows:
1 If the digits of the first or the third word of the line key 5L are 0315 (FM battery 1 fault) or 0317 (FM battery 2 fault), you must replace the related FMGC within one month (from the first occurrence of the fault message) and send the removed FMGC to shop to replace the two batteries from the related
FMGC-1 [1CA1] and/or FMGC-2 [1CA2] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.
2 If the digits of the first or the third word of the line key 5L are 0319 (FM battery 1 & 2 fault), you must replace the related FMGC at the next maintenance check and send the removed FMGC to shop to replace the two batteries from the related
FMGC-1 [1CA1] and/or FMGC-2 [1CA2] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.
(2) If the fault continues:
Subtask 22-83-00-710-075-A - do the ground scanning of the AFS AMM 22-91-00-710-001.
(a) Get access to the AFS MAIN MENU page and, on this page, push the line key related to the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA indication.
(b) On the AFS/TROUBLE SHOOTING/BITE SELECTION page you get, push the line key related to FM 1 or/and FM 2.
(c) On the AFS/TROUBLE SHOOTING page you get, do the check that follows:
1 If the digits of the first or the third word of the line key 5L are 0315 (FM battery 1 fault) or 0317 (FM battery 2 fault), you must replace the related FMGC within one month (from the first occurrence of the fault message) and send the removed FMGC to shop to replace the two batteries from the related
FMGC-1 [1CA1] and/or FMGC-2 [1CA2] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.

(2) If the fault continues:
- replace the FAC-1 [1CC1] AMM 22-66-34-000-002 and AMM 22-66-34-400-002.
- do a check and repair the
wiring of the FMGC OWN A bus from the FAC-1 (1CC1) to the FMGC-1 (1CA1) ASM 228602.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
