  • wiring from MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/30 to the first terminal block
  • wiring from the MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/40 to the MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/41
  • wiring from MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/4 to the first terminal block

ACTION
RESULT
1.On the MCDU 2:
  • push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • the MCDU MENU page comes into view.
  • push the line key adjacent to the NAV B/UP indication.
  • the B/UP FPLN page comes into view.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 22-82-00-810-090-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the NAV B/UP indication is not available:
   (1) Do a check of the wiring from MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/30 to the first terminal block AWM 228407.
     (a) If there is a ground signal:
  • remove the ground connection.
     (b) If there is no ground signal:
  • continue the trouble shooting procedure.
   (2) If the fault continues:
  • do a check for continuity of the wiring from the MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/40 to the MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/41 AWM 228407.
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • repair the above wiring.
     (b) If there is continuity:
  • continue the trouble shooting procedure.
   (3) If the fault continues:
  • do a check for ground of the wiring from MCDU 2 (3CA2) pin B/4 to the first terminal block AWM 228407.
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • repair the above wiring.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • continue the trouble shooting procedure.
   (4) If the fault continues:

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.C.
5. Close-up
