4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 22-66-00-810-195-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Check of the ROPS Database
   (1) Do a check to see if the ROW/ROP function is applicable to the selected runway in the Enhanced GPWC(TAWS) database.
NOTE: The applicability of the ROW/ROP function is given on the TAWS supplier website. An "Airbus ROPS" excel file is also available on the website.
     (a) If the function is applicable, upload the Enhanced GPWC database AMM 34-48-00-610-001.
     (b) If the function is not applicable, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
Subtask 22-66-00-810-190-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Do the steps that follow:
   (1) On the Post Flight Report (PFR), do a check for a maintenance message related to the TAWS and/or FAC.
     (a) If there is a maintenance message related to the TAWS and/or FAC:
       1 Do the related trouble shooting procedure.
     (b) If there is no maintenance message related to the TAWS and/or FAC:
       1 Do the operational test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001:
  • If the test gives a maintenance message for FAC1, FAC2, FMGC1 or FMGC2, do the related trouble shooting procedure.
  • If no maintenance message is shown after the AFS test, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
