1. Possible Causes
  • wiring of the ELAC OWN bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
  • wiring of the ELAC OPP bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)
  • wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY MON discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
  • wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY COM discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)

A. Test
   (1) Do the Ground Scanning of the AFS AMM 22-91-00-710-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 22-66-00-810-136-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: CHK FAC1-ELAC 1/2 WRG:
  • do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OWN bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
  • do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OPP bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)
    ASM 226901.
   (1) If there is no continuity:
  • repair the above wiring.
   (2) If there is continuity:
  • do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY MON discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
  • do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY COM discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)
    ASM 226801.
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • repair the above wiring.
     (b) If there is continuity:
  • do the operational test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001, and refer to the procedure related to the message that the test gave.
