NOTE: During the test ignore the aural warning.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the FLT CTL panel 23VU:
push the FAC 1 pushbutton switch.	on this pushbutton switch, the OFF legend goes off and the FAULT legend stays off.
2.Open the circuit breaker 5CC1.	On the upper ECAM DU: the AUTO FLT FAC 1 FAULT message comes into view.
	On the FLT CTL panel 23VU: on the FAC 1 pushbutton switch, the FAULT legend comes on.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 22-66-00-810-092-A

A. If the FAULT legend does not come on:

push the FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch.

(1) If the OFF legend of this pushbutton switch does not come on:

do a check and repair the wiring of the 5VAC signal at FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch (12CC1) (from pin A/8 to the first terminal block) ASM 226501.

(2) If the OFF legend of this pushbutton switch comes on:

on the panel 25VU, set the ANN LT switch to TEST.

(a) If the FAULT legend of the FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch does not come on:

replace the P/BSW-FLT CTL/FAC1 [12CC1] , ESPM 2045110.

1 If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring of FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch (12CC1) from pin A/7 to pin A/B3 ASM 226501.

(b) If the FAULT legend of the FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch comes on:

replace the RELAY-FAC1 ENGAGED [11CC1] .

1 If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring of the FAC 1 ENGAGED relay (11CC1) (from relay 11CC1 pin A/A3 to the ground point and from relay 11CC1 pin A/A2 to the pushbutton switch 12CC1 pin A/B1) ASM 226501.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the panels 301VU and 500VU, set the PFD and ND potentiometers to OFF.
(2) On the panel 25VU, set the ANN LT switch to BRT.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
