3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 22-11-00-710-062-A

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001 and read the results for the FMGC 2 and the FAC 1.
(2) On the FCU, push the AP2 pushbutton switch.
(3) Do the operational test of the AFS AMM 22-96-00-710-001 again and read the results for the FMGC 2 and the FAC 1.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 22-11-00-810-062-A

A. If one of the tests gives the maintenance messages:
AFS: FMGC2/AP ENGD FDBK and
AFS: FAC1/AP2 ENGD WIRING

Replace the FMGC-2 [1CA2] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

Do the troubleshooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 31-32-00-810-932):
. Related to the AP OWN ENGD MON OPP discrete
. Related to the AP OWN ENGD COM OPP discrete ASM 228503.
If you do not find fault during the troubleshooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 31-32-00-810-932), go to Para. (e).

(a) If the fault continues:

Replace the FMGC-1 [1CA1] AMM 22-83-34-000-001 and AMM 22-83-34-400-001.

(b) If the fault continues:

Replace the FWC-1 [1WW1] AMM 31-53-34-000-001 and AMM 31-53-34-400-001.

Replace the ELAC-1 [2CE1] AMM 27-93-34-000-001 and AMM 27-93-34-400-001.

(d) If the fault continues:

Replace the FAC-1 [1CC1] AMM 22-66-34-000-002 and AMM 22-66-34-400-002.

(e) If the fault continues:

Do a check and repair the wiring of the AP OWN ENGD MON OPP discrete (from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) pin AD/14D to the first terminal block)
Do a check and repair the wiring of the AP OWN ENGD COM OPP discrete (from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) pin AA/14B to the first terminal block) ASM 228503.
