Pack 1 Air Inlet Actuator Fault

CAUTION: DO NOT SWAP THE PACK/ACS CONTROLLERS. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THEM IF THERE IS AN ELECTRICAL FAULT IN THE ACTUATOR.

3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 21-61-00-710-136-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Test
(1) Do the pre-conditioning through the HP ground connection AMM 12-33-21-618-001 or with the APU AMM 12-33-21-618-001.
(2) Do the operational test of the pack temperature-control system AMM 21-61-00-710-001.

NOTE: If a fault is detected, the PC gives a fault code for shop maintenance in addition to the related CFDS message(s) (refer to TSM chapter 21-63-00, page block 301).

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 21-61-00-810-165-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives the maintenance message P1 RAM AIR IN ACTUATOR:

replace the P1 RAM AIR IN ACTUATOR [8HH] (referred to as ACTUATOR (8HH)) AMM 21-61-51-000-001 and AMM 21-61-51-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring ASM 216104 from:
the ACTUATOR (8HH) to the PC 1 (7HH) and,
the ACTUATOR (8HH) to ground.

(2) If the fault continues:

replace the P1 CONTROLLER [7HH] AMM 21-61-34-000-001 and AMM 21-61-34-400-001.

Subtask 21-61-00-810-165-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives the maintenance message P1 RAM AIR IN ACTUATOR(8HH):

replace the P1 RAM AIR IN ACTUATOR [8HH] AMM 21-61-51-000-001 and AMM 21-61-51-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring ASM 216104 from:
the ACTUATOR (8HH) to the ACSC1 (47HH) and,
the ACTUATOR (8HH) to ground.

(2) If the fault continues:

replace the CONT-AIR COND SYSTEM 1 [47HH] AMM 21-61-34-000-002 and AMM 21-61-34-400-002.
