3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 21-43-00-710-058-A
A. To Confirm the Fault
   (1) Do a read out of the POST FLIGHT and/or LAST LEG REPORT.
   (2) Do the power-up (BITE) test of the cargo compartment heating controller AMM 21-43-00-740-002.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 21-43-00-810-079-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the conditions which follow occur:
  • the POST FLIGHT and/or the LAST LEG REPORT gives no maintenance message and,
    on the lower ECAM display unit COND page the AFT trim-air valve position shows amber XX:
  • replace the AFT CARGO TRIM AIR VALVE [12HC] AMM 21-43-51-000-001 and AMM 21-43-51-400-001.
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring ASM 214302 from:
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SDAC 1 (1WV1),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SDAC 2 (1WV2),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the VALVE (12HC),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SENSOR (13HC) and,
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SENSOR (14HC).
   (2) If the fault continues:
Subtask 21-43-00-810-058-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the conditions which follow occur:
  • the POST FLIGHT and/or the LAST LEG REPORT gives the maintenance message AFT PRESSURE REG VALVE and,
    on the lower ECAM display unit COND page the aft-cargo hot air shutoff-valve (HOT AIR symbol) shows AMBER XX:
  • replace the AFT CARGO PRESS REG VALVE [11HC] AMM 21-43-52-000-001 and AMM 21-43-52-400-001.
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring ASM 214302 from:
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the CONTROLLER (10HC),
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the SDAC 1 (1WV1),
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the SDAC 2 (1WV2),
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the CB (31HN) and,
  • the VALVE (11HC) to ground.
Subtask 21-43-00-810-079-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. If the conditions which follow occur:
  • the POST FLIGHT and/or the LAST LEG REPORT gives no maintenance message and,
    on the lower ECAM display unit COND page the AFT trim-air valve position shows amber XX:
  • replace the AFT CARGO TRIM AIR VALVE [12HC] AMM 21-43-51-000-001 and AMM 21-43-51-400-001.
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring ASM 214302 from:
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SDAC 1 (1WV1),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SDAC 2 (1WV2),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the VALVE (12HC),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SENSOR (13HC) and,
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the SENSOR (14HC),
  • the CONTROLLER (10HC) to the PROX SW (50WV) and,
  • the PROX SW (50WV) to ground.
   (2) If the fault continues:

D. If the conditions which follow occur:
  • the POST FLIGHT and/or the LAST LEG REPORT gives the maintenance message AFT PRESSURE REG VALVE and,
    on the lower ECAM display unit COND page the aft-cargo hot air shutoff-valve (HOT AIR symbol) shows AMBER XX:
  • replace the AFT CARGO PRESS REG VALVE [11HC] AMM 21-43-52-000-001 and AMM 21-43-52-400-001.
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring ASM 214302 from:
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the CONTROLLER (10HC),
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the SDAC 1 (1WV1),
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the SDAC 2 (1WV2),
  • the VALVE (11HC) to the CB (31HN) and,
  • the VALVE (11HC) to ground.
   (2) If the fault continues:
