A. Make sure that the identification of the cause of the noise is correct (Ref. TSM TASK 05-50-00-810-801).

A. If the fault symptom is identified by the crew observation:
Rumbling noise in the cockpit:

Do an inspection of the avionics compartment to make sure that the silencers are in correct condition (if necessary, remove the related ducts) AMM 05-21-20-200-001, AMM 05-21-20-200-003 and AMM 05-21-20-200-005.

(1) If a silencer or the flanges that old it in position are not correctly attached:

Do an inspection downstream from the silencer flanges to find the missing honeycomb piece at the avionics filters.
