A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 76-11-00-865-082-A (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

D. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE below the forward avionics compartment.
(2) Open the access door 811.
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE below the forward avionics compartment.
(2) Open the access door 811.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
Subtask 76-11-00-020-054-A A. Loosen the three screws (3).
(1) Remove the guard (7).
(2) Cut and remove the lockwire from the lock nut (6). Loosen the lock nut.

(2) Cut and remove the lockwire from the lock nut (6). Loosen the lock nut.
B. Hold the adjusting rod (5) then turn the nut (4) to get a load of 1.9 +0.44 lbf or -0 lbf (0.85 +0.20 daN or +0.00 daN) on the related throttle control lever.
Subtask 76-11-00-420-054-A NOTE: Measure this value in the IDLE STOP/MAX CLIMB range. Do not measure this value at the detent points where the load increases suddenly.
NOTE: Values are given at the temperature of 20 deg.C (68 deg.F).
(1) Tighten the lock nut (6) to block the adjustment system. Measure the load again to make sure that it is the same. C. Safety the lock nut (6) with lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8mm) dia.
Subtask 76-11-00-020-055-A D. Cut and remove the lockwire from the lock nut (2).
(1) Loosen the lock nut.

E. Turn the adjustment screw (1) to get a load equal to 5.62 +0.22 lbf or -0 lbf (2.50 +0.10 daN or +0.00 daN) when you go through the MAX CLIMB detent point (the first detent point that you feel when you move the lever forward).
Subtask 76-11-00-420-055-A NOTE: This detent point includes the load measured in paragraph B.
(1) Block the adjustment system. Measure the load again to make sure that it is the same as the value given in the paragraph E. F. Safety the lock nut (2) with lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8mm) dia.
(1) Install the guard (7).
(2) Tighten the three screws (3).
