3. Job Set-up
Subtask 73-22-49-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure, that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
437AL, 438AR
     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL, 448AR.
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position.
4. Procedure
Subtask 73-22-49-420-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Pb Sense-Line Pipe
   (1)
F Pb Sense-Line Pipe-Assembly ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) For SB 73-0198:
       1 Loosely connect the pb sense-line tube (19) assembly to the P3 union on the Engine Electronic Controller (EEC).
       2 Loosely connect the pb sense-line tube (19) to the tube (18).
       3 At clip position CP1482:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt, washer and nut that attach the clip to the bracket.
       4 At clip position CP1481:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt, washer and nut that attach the clip to the bracket.
       5 At clip position CP1017:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt, spacer and nut that attach the clip and the J-hook.
       6 At clip position CP0586:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt and the spacer that attach the other four clips to the duct.
       7 TORQUE the coupling nut of the pb sense-line tube (19) to the P3 union to between 150 and 142 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.60 m.daN ) T.
       8 TORQUE the coupling nut of the pb sense-line tube (19) to tube (18) to between 177 and 159 lbf.in (2.00 and 1.80 m.daN )

       9 Install the safety cable:
WARNING: USE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL SAFETY CABLE. EACH TIME YOU CUT SAFETY CABLE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE SAFETY CABLE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
         a Safety the coupling nut with the safety cable.
       10 TORQUE the nuts at the clip positions CP1482, CP1481, CP1017 and CP0586 to between 45 and 36 lbf.in (0.51 and 0.41 m.daN )

     (b) For SB 73-0246:
       1 Loosely connect the pb sense-line tube (19) to the tube (18).
       2 Loosely connect the pb sense-line tube (19) to the bracket (6) with the locking nut.
       3 Loosely connect the pb flex hose (20) to tube (19) on bracket (6).
       4 Loosely connect the pb flex hose (20) to the P3 union on the EEC.
       5 At clip position CP1481:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt, washer and nut that attach the clip to the bracket.
       6 At clip position CP1017:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt, spacer and nut that attach the clip and the J-hook.
       7 At clip position CP0586:
         a Install the clip on the pb sense-line tube (19).
         b Install the bolt and the spacer that attach the other four clips to the duct.
       8 TORQUE the coupling nut of the pb sense-line tube (19) to the tube (18) to between 177 and 159 lbf.in (2.00 and 1.80 m.daN )

       9 TORQUE the locking nut of the pb sense-line tube (19) to the bracket (6) to between 42 and 38 lbf.in (0.47 and 0.43 m.daN )
T.
       10 TORQUE the coupling nut of the pb flex hose (20) to the P3 union to between 150 and 142 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.60 m.daN )
T.
       11 TORQUE the coupling nut of the pb flex hose (20) to the tube (19) on the bracket (6) to between 177 and 159 lbf.in (2.00 and 1.80 m.daN )
T.
       12 Install the safety cable:

         a Safety the coupling nuts with the safety cable.
       13 TORQUE the nuts at clip positions CP1481, CP1017 and CP0586 to between 45 and 36 lbf.in (0.51 and 0.41 m.daN )

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the fan cowl doors (

     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL, 448AR.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

B. Test
   (1) Do the idle leak-check-test no. 3 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-012).
