3. Job Set-up
Subtask 73-22-49-941-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
437AL, 438AR
(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL, 448AR.
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at engine 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-22-49-020-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal the Pb Sense-Line Pipe
(1) Remove the safety cable(s):

WARNING: USE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL SAFETY CABLE. EACH TIME YOU CUT SAFETY CABLE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE SAFETY CABLE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.

(a) Remove the safety cable(s) from the coupling nut(s).

Pb Sense-Line Pipe-Assembly ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(a) For SB 73-0198:
1 Remove the bolts, washers, nuts and clips at clip positions CP1482, CP1481, CP1017 and CP0586.
2 Disconnect the pb sense-line tube (19) from the tube (18).
3 Disconnect the pb sense-line tube (19) from the P3 union at the Engine Electronic Controller (EEC).
4 Remove the pb sense-line tube (19).
(b) For SB 73-0246:
1 Remove the bolts, washers, nuts and clips at clip positions CP1481, CP1017 and CP0586.
2 Disconnect the pb flex hose (20) from the P3 union at the EEC.
3 Disconnect the pb flex hose (20) from the bracket (6).
4 Remove the pb flex hose (20).
5 Disconnect the pb sense-line tube (19) from the tube (18).
6 Remove the locking nut and disconnect the pb sense-line tube (19) from the bracket (6).
7 Remove the pb sense-line tube (19).
