Subtask 73-22-48-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
4. Procedure(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.

A. Remove the applicable COVER - BLANKING from the openings.
Subtask 73-22-48-110-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL B. Clean lint free cloth make moist to clean these parts:
(1) Use a clean lint free cloth make moist with cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) to clean these parts.
(a) The end connectors of the hose (1).
(b) The end connector of the tube assembly (7) and tube (10).
(c) The unions (4) and (9).
(d) The nuts (8) and the bolts (3).
(e) The panel (2) and the air-intake-cowl access-panel frame.
Subtask 73-22-48-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Use a clean lint free cloth make moist with cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) to clean these parts.
(a) The end connectors of the hose (1).
(b) The end connector of the tube assembly (7) and tube (10).
(c) The unions (4) and (9).
(d) The nuts (8) and the bolts (3).
(e) The panel (2) and the air-intake-cowl access-panel frame.
C. Install the P2T2 Probe Tube and hose assemblies:
(1) Install the P2T2 hose assembly.
(a) Put the union (9) in the rear bulkhead, in the position written on its removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-22-48-000-010).
(b) Install the nut (8) to the union (9) from the inner side of the rear bulkhead.
(c) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(d) Connect the elbow connector of the hose assembly (1) to the instrument air-tube (10).
(e) TORQUE the elbow connector of the hose assembly (1) to between 115 and 105 lbf.in (1.30 and 1.19 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(f) Connect the straight connector of the hose assembly (1) to the union (9).
(g) TORQUE the straight connector of the hose assembly (1) to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(h) Safety the elbow connector of the hose assembly (1) to the instrument air-tube (10) with corrosion resistant steel lockwire (Material No.V02-119) .
(2) Install the P2T2 tube/hose assembly.
(b) Union (4) and packing (5) are pre-installed on the P2T2 sensor probe (Ref. AMM TASK 73-22-11-400-010).
(c) Hold the unions (4) and (9) and TORQUE the connectors of the tube/hose assembly to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(a) Attach the access panel (2) to the air intake cowl with the 18 bolts (3).
(b) TORQUE the bolts to between 38.5 and 31.5 lbf.in (0.44 and 0.36 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
5. Close-up(1) Install the P2T2 hose assembly.
(a) Put the union (9) in the rear bulkhead, in the position written on its removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-22-48-000-010).
(b) Install the nut (8) to the union (9) from the inner side of the rear bulkhead.
(c) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (d) Connect the elbow connector of the hose assembly (1) to the instrument air-tube (10).
(e) TORQUE the elbow connector of the hose assembly (1) to between 115 and 105 lbf.in (1.30 and 1.19 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (f) Connect the straight connector of the hose assembly (1) to the union (9).
(g) TORQUE the straight connector of the hose assembly (1) to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (h) Safety the elbow connector of the hose assembly (1) to the instrument air-tube (10) with corrosion resistant steel lockwire (Material No.V02-119) .
(2) Install the P2T2 tube/hose assembly.
CAUTION:
DO NOT TWIST THE HOSE WHEN YOU INSTALL AND TORQUE THE TUBE/HOSE. DAMAGE TO THE TUBE/HOSE CAN OCCUR AND GIVE FALSE INDICATIONS FROM THE P2T2 PROBE.
(a) Connect the tube assembly (7) to the unions (4) and (9). (b) Union (4) and packing (5) are pre-installed on the P2T2 sensor probe (Ref. AMM TASK 73-22-11-400-010).
(c) Hold the unions (4) and (9) and TORQUE the connectors of the tube/hose assembly to between 145 and 135 lbf.in (1.64 and 1.53 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). NOTE: The tube assembly (7) must not be twisted.
(3) Install the P2T2 probe access panel. (a) Attach the access panel (2) to the air intake cowl with the 18 bolts (3).
(b) TORQUE the bolts to between 38.5 and 31.5 lbf.in (0.44 and 0.36 m.daN )

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
437AL 438AR.
(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL 448AR.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
437AL 438AR.
(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL 448AR.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
