Subtask 72-60-00-941-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

4. Procedure
Subtask 72-60-00-960-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Replacement of the Packing on the Strainer of the Angle Gearbox
F Angle Gearbox Strainer ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Remove the fastener (10) that secures the strainer (20) from the bottom right side of the angle gearbox.
   (2) Remove the strainer (20) from the angle gearbox.
   (3) Remove and discard the packing (30).
   (4) Lubricate the new AIPC 72-60-41-80-030 PACKING (30) with the approved engine oils (Material No.V10-077) .
   (5) Install the new packing (30) on the strainer (20).
   (6) Install the strainer (20) on the angle gearbox.
   (7) Install the fastener (10) that secures the strainer (20) on the angle gearbox.
     (a) TORQUE the fastener (10) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL, 448AR.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
