Spinner Front and Rear ConesSubtask 72-21-00-941-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
(2) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(4) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(5) Install MAT - PROTECTIVE in the lower half of the inlet cowl.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
(2) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(4) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(5) Install MAT - PROTECTIVE in the lower half of the inlet cowl.
Subtask 72-21-00-020-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Remove the Spinner Rear Cone:
(3) Remove the spinner rear cone from the fan disk with the 6 jackscrews from the 856A1130 TOOL SET - JACK SCREW (856A1130G02/G06/G10).
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL NOT TO LET THE SPINNER FRONT CONE FALL DOWN WHEN YOU DETACH IT FROM THE REAR CONE.
(1) Remove the spinner front cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-005). NOTE: Do not loosen or remove the balance screws installed on the spinner rear cone.
(2) Remove the bolts (30) and the washers (10) which attach the spinner rear cone (20) to the fan disk. (3) Remove the spinner rear cone from the fan disk with the 6 jackscrews from the 856A1130 TOOL SET - JACK SCREW (856A1130G02/G06/G10).
