A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 72-00-00-010-148-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.

A. Forward Sump Air Flow Check
(2) Cut and remove the lockwire which safeties the union nut of the oil supply hose (20) to the oil supply tube (10).
(3) Disconnect the oil supply hose.
(4) Connect the test rig equipped with 856A3267 ADAPTER, TEST RIG - AIR FLOW CHECK (856A3267G02), to the oil supply tube (10).
(5) TORQUE the union nut to between 275 and 225 lbf.in (3.11 and 2.54 m.daN )
.
(6) Do the check of the forward sump oil supply circuit (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-820-002).
(7) If the measured flow rate is not within the limits, replace the power plant (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-000-042) and (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-400-042).
(8) Disconnect the test rig from the oil supply tube (10).
(9) Connect the oil supply hose (20) to the oil supply tube (10).
(10) TORQUE the union nut to between 550 and 450 lbf.in (6.22 and 5.09 m.daN )

(11) Safety the union nut withCP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
Subtask 72-00-00-710-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL Subtask 72-00-00-610-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL 5. Close-upWARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND BE CAREFUL WITH OIL SPLASHES WHEN YOU DISCONNECT OIL TUBES. HOT OIL CAN CAUSE DEEP BURNS.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) under the junction of the oil supply tube (10) and oil supply hose (20). (2) Cut and remove the lockwire which safeties the union nut of the oil supply hose (20) to the oil supply tube (10).
(3) Disconnect the oil supply hose.
CAUTION:
USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS:
(a) Disconnect the oil supply hose (20) from the oil supply tube (10). - ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION, AND
- ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE COUPLING NUT.
(4) Connect the test rig equipped with 856A3267 ADAPTER, TEST RIG - AIR FLOW CHECK (856A3267G02), to the oil supply tube (10).
(5) TORQUE the union nut to between 275 and 225 lbf.in (3.11 and 2.54 m.daN )
. (6) Do the check of the forward sump oil supply circuit (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-820-002).
(7) If the measured flow rate is not within the limits, replace the power plant (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-000-042) and (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-400-042).
(8) Disconnect the test rig from the oil supply tube (10).
(9) Connect the oil supply hose (20) to the oil supply tube (10).
(10) TORQUE the union nut to between 550 and 450 lbf.in (6.22 and 5.09 m.daN )
