A. Visual Inspection for Serviceability for Damaged Engines
   (1) Do a visual inspection for serviceability for damaged engines as follows:
     (a) Examine all engines that were in accidents, or were dropped or hit.
     (b) Examine all engines that experienced birdstrikes or ingested foreign objects (Ref. AMM TASK 72-00-00-210-807).
     (c) Examine all engines that had tailpipe fires or other fires (Ref. AMM TASK 72-00-00-210-817).
     (d) Examine all engines that were operated in volcanic ash or during unusual conditions (Ref. AMM TASK 72-00-00-210-815).
     (e) Examine all engines that were operated during conditions that were not within the limits that the aircraft and engines were certified for.
   (2) Examine all damaged engines and parts from these engines to determine that they are satisfactory and serviceable.
     (a) If damage is discovered (Ref. AMM TASK 70-50-00-910-801).
   (3) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
