Subtask 71-13-14-941-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-13-14-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(5) Open the oil filler access door
(a) Release the latches (2).
Subtask 71-13-14-110-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(5) Open the oil filler access door
(a) Release the latches (2).
C. Clean the oil filler door
V01-076 Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Technical grade (Ref. 70-30-00) to clean the oil filler access door and the hinge (1).
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to dry the area before the cleaning fluid dries.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
KEEP FLAMES AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT WHICH IS NOT FLAMEPROOF AWAY FROM THE WORK AREA. THE CLEANING FLUID IS FLAMMABLE.
(1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with the (2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to dry the area before the cleaning fluid dries.

A. Use fluorescent penetrant to examine the oil filler door hinge (1) for cracks (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-05-230-010).
(1) If it is cracked, repair it (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-14-300-012).

B. Examine the oil filler access door assembly
(1) Examine the oil filler door lands.
(a) Examine the oil filler door lands at zone A.
1 Examine the door lands for friction damage.
2 Examine the door lands for gouges.
3 Examine the door lands for nicks.
4 Examine the door lands for cracks.
5 Examine the door lands for scratches.
6 Examine the door lands for pierce damage.
(b) Inspection standard
1 Friction damage is acceptable provided it is no more than the resin surface in depth.
2 Gouges
a Components with gouges up to 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) in depth when blended are acceptable.
b Components with gouges more than 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) in depth are to be rejected.
3 Nicks
a Components with nicks up to 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) in depth when blended are acceptable.
b Components with nicks more than 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) in depth are to be rejected.
4 Cracks
a No cracks are allowed.
5 Scratches
a Components with scratches up to 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) in depth and 7.0 in. (177.8 mm) in length when blended are acceptable.

4 Loose hi-loks
a If there are loose hi-loks, repair them (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-14-300-012).
5 Wear
a Components with radial movement up to 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) are acceptable.
b Components with radial movement more than 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) are to be rejected.

(1) Make a check of the oil filler door for delamination
(2) Delamination
(a) No delamination is allowed.

NOTE: Delamination can occur near the edges of the door and near to other damage.
(a) Use the IAE1N20444 TOOL-TAPPING, to do a sonic test of the areas of possible delamination. (2) Delamination
(a) No delamination is allowed.
D. Make a check of the clearance around the oil filler access door.
(1) Make sure the door is closed.
(2) Measure the clearance around the edges of the door and its opening in the fan cowl.
(3) If the clearance is not between 0.055 in. (1.40 mm) and 0.110 in. (2.80 mm), reject the door.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure the door is closed.
(2) Measure the clearance around the edges of the door and its opening in the fan cowl.
(3) If the clearance is not between 0.055 in. (1.40 mm) and 0.110 in. (2.80 mm), reject the door.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the oil filler door
(a) Close the door and lock the latches (2).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):

(7) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the oil filler door
(a) Close the door and lock the latches (2).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
