A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
Subtask 71-13-12-010-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Get Access
   (1) If necessary, open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802).
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)
     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)
NOTE: You can usually remove the oil tank access door latches (2) without the left fan cowl doors open.
   (2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (3) Open the oil tank access door.
4. Procedure
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

A. Removal of the Oil Tank Access Door Latch

PRE SB GRAA320NEO-A-71-13-0009-00001-930A-D

   (1) Remove the oil tank access door latch (2).
     (a) Remove the eight nuts (4), eight washers (3) and eight bolts (1) that attach the two oil tank access door latches (2) to the oil tank access door.
     (b) Remove the oil tank access door latches (2) from the oil tank access door.

   (2) Remove the oil tank access door latch (12).
     (a) Remove the eight nuts (13) and eight pins (11) that attach the two oil tank access door latches (12) to the oil tank access door.
     (b) Remove the oil tank access door latches (12) from the oil tank access door.

   (3) Installation of the protection covers
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
