Subtask 71-11-11-860-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
4. Procedure(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
Subtask 71-11-11-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the T.A.I Access Panel
(1) Attach the T.A.I access panel (1) to the air intake cowl with the bolts (2).
(a) Twist the outer duct (3) to align it with the T.A.I access panel (1).
(2) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 28.6 and 23.4 lbf.in (0.32 and 0.26 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
Subtask 71-11-11-220-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Attach the T.A.I access panel (1) to the air intake cowl with the bolts (2).
(a) Twist the outer duct (3) to align it with the T.A.I access panel (1).
(2) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 28.6 and 23.4 lbf.in (0.32 and 0.26 m.daN )

(1) Do a check of the installed anti-ice access panel (1) aft land of the air intake cowl to make sure that there is an out-of-wind step of up to 0.05 in. (1.27 mm).
(2) If there is no out-of-wind step between the anti-ice access panel (1) and the access panel aft land, shim the aft edge of the access panel (1)CMM 711100 (RDN 604).
5. Close-up(1) Do a check of the installed anti-ice access panel (1) aft land of the air intake cowl to make sure that there is an out-of-wind step of up to 0.05 in. (1.27 mm).
(2) If there is no out-of-wind step between the anti-ice access panel (1) and the access panel aft land, shim the aft edge of the access panel (1)

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
