Removal of the Access Panel
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Make sure that the flaps/slats are fully retracted (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(5) Install the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING on the CAPT and F/O side sticks.
(6) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the CAPT and F/O side sticks to tell persons not to operate the ailerons.

Subtask 57-51-37-020-055-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Panel inserts can fall out when the panels are removed. Keep all inserts that fall out. Make a record of the position of each missing insert.
(1) Remove the nineteen bolts (2) then remove the access panel (1). A. Removal of the Access Panel 575AT(675AT)
