(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the zone 500(600).

(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the applicable area.

B. General Visual Inspection of Outer Wing, Bottom Skin Lower Surface at Fuel Tank Water Drain Holes, between Rib 15 and Rib 16 and Rib 22-23, and Magnetic Level Indicator Position
(1) Do an inspection and make sure that:

there is no damage
there are no cracks
there is no corrosion
the paint finish is in the correct condition.

NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 572100 for the correct repair procedure.

B. General Visual Inspection of Outer Wing, Bottom Skin Lower Surface at Fuel Tank Water Drain Holes, and Magnetic Level Indicator Position between Rib 15-16
(1) Do an inspection and make sure that:

there is no damage
there are no cracks
there is no corrosion
the paint finish is in the correct condition.

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
