WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Make sure that the flaps/slats are fully retracted (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
Subtask 57-21-00-010-086-A (1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position.

A. Inspection
(1) Do an inspection of the sealant (1) between:
(3) If the sealant (1) is found to be damaged or missing, the area must be repaired with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) SRM 517611.
5. Close-up(1) Do an inspection of the sealant (1) between:
- the spoiler seal plate and the wing top skin
- the access panel 575AT(675AT) and the wing top skin.
(3) If the sealant (1) is found to be damaged or missing, the area must be repaired with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) SRM 517611.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
