Removal of the Fixed Windows
WARNING:
YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN HOLD THE COMPONENT BEFORE YOU REMOVE/INSTALL IT. THE COMPONENT IS HEAVY. IF IT FALLS, IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE SHARP AND/OR METALLIC TOOLS OR OBJECTS TO REMOVE/INSTALL THE WINDSHIELD OR A WINDOW. DO NOT USE A LEVER AGAINST THE EDGE OF THE WINDSHIELD OR WINDOW. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE WINDSHIELD OR WINDOW.

NOTE: This procedure is only applicable to the glass fixed windows (SGS supplier P/Ns SPSA320-5-X-X and SPSA320-6-X-X).

A. Removal of the Fixed Window Assembly
(1) Removal of the lining panel (8):
(a) Remove the lateral lining panel:
1 FOR [7DG1] (WINDOW-FIXED, L)
(c) Loosen the fasteners (2).
(d) Remove the lining panel (8).
(2) Removal of the fixed window assembly:
(a) Disconnect the sensor (11) from the receptacle (14).
(b) Install the CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(c) Remove the screws (12).
(d) Remove the fixed window assembly (13).
Subtask 56-11-12-020-054-A (1) Removal of the lining panel (8):
(a) Remove the lateral lining panel:
1 FOR [7DG1] (WINDOW-FIXED, L)
- Remove the screws (3).
- Loosen the fasteners (4).
- Remove panel 211KW (5).
- Loosen the fasteners (1).
- Remove panel 212KW.
(c) Loosen the fasteners (2).
(d) Remove the lining panel (8).
(2) Removal of the fixed window assembly:
(a) Disconnect the sensor (11) from the receptacle (14).
(b) Install the CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector.
(c) Remove the screws (12).
(d) Remove the fixed window assembly (13).
B. Disassembly of the Fixed Window Assembly
(1) Loosen the 45 bolts (15) and the 45 nuts (17).
(2) Remove and discard the nuts (17).
(3) Remove the inner retainer (18).
(4) Remove the fixed window panel (19) and the seal (20) from the outer retainer (21).
(5) Remove the 45 bolts (15).
(1) Loosen the 45 bolts (15) and the 45 nuts (17).
(2) Remove and discard the nuts (17).
(3) Remove the inner retainer (18).
(4) Remove the fixed window panel (19) and the seal (20) from the outer retainer (21).
(5) Remove the 45 bolts (15).
