A. Detailed Inspection
(1) Make a detailed inspection of the horizontal stabilizer jack fitting and surrounding external structure for:

debonding of the fittings halves,
delaminations,
deterioration of the structure,
condition of the Hi-Lok fasteners,
condition of the bearings.

(2) If damage is found, look for allowable damage limits SRM 551600.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

(1) Close the access panel 312AR.

(2) Remove the access platform(s).
