WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

   (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the hydraulic systems.
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 314.

A. Detailed Inspection
   (1) Make a detailed inspection of the horizontal stabilizer upper and lower joint fittings, external surfaces at the five rearmost rows of fasteners for:
  • delamination,
  • deterioration of the structure,
  • scratches, marks and dents,
  • cracks,
  • damaged paintwork. details.
   (2) If damage is found, look for allowable damage limits SRM 551100.

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
