NOTE: For paints and coatings, this procedure uses Material No. 04PAF8 (Polyurethane Coating - Non Slip Floor) as an alternative to Material No. 05TBA1 (Adhesive Tape - Slip Resistant).

3. Job Set-up

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the passenger/crew door 832 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-42-00-350-050-A

A. Repair Procedure
(1) Apply TAPE - MASKING on the adjacent area which you will not rub with the PAPER - ABRASIVE (GRADE 320).
(2) Lightly rub the contact surface of the applicable door-threshold floor panel with the PAPER - ABRASIVE (GRADE 320) or a less-abrasive paper to remove the external anti-slip top layer. Do not cause damage to the basic primer.
(a) For the location of the applicable door-threshold floor panel, please refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(3) Clean the surface with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) or Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .
(4) Remove and discard the masking tape.
(5) Do an inspection for damaged paint of the areas that had masking tape on them.

NOTE: The inspection of the left-side floor panel is the same as for the right-side floor panel.

(6) Let the surface dry for 30 minutes.
(7) Apply Adhesive Tape-Slip Resistant - - (Material No.05TBA1) or Polyurethane Coating-- Non Slip Floor (Material No.04PAF8) on the contact surface of the applicable door-threshold floor panel.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Close the passenger/crew door 832 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
