A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 110.
   (2) If necessary, open the radome (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-010-001).
4. Procedure

CAUTION: TAP THE SURFACE OF THE COMPONENT LIGHTLY. IF YOU APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RADOME.
A. Tap Test
NOTE: If a boot is installed, it is not necessary to remove the boot from the radome to do the tap test.
   (1) Refer to NTM 511003.
   (2) Identify the damage area on the aircraft skin with the MARKER - CHALK, STICK.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-15-11-860-050-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) If necessary, close the radome (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
