CAUTION:
IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU OPEN THE CARGO COMPARTMENT DOOR, RECORD ON THE WORK CARD ON THE DOOR, THE DATE AND TIME WHEN YOU OPENED IT. IF THE CARGO COMPARTMENT DOOR STAYS OPEN FOR 12 HOURS OR MORE, YOU MUST BLEED THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM RELATED TO IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, THE DOOR CAN CLOSE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SET THE DOOR TO "CLOSE". THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DOOR AND TO THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE.
1. Reason for the JobTo bleed the hydraulic system for the cargo compartment doors after the removal/installation of related components.
NOTE: Two persons are necessary to do this task.
The crane solution is the alternative if bleeding starts from cargo compartment door in the fully OPEN position.The standard solution is for cargo compartment door in the CLOSED or perpendicular position.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the access panel 198CB to get access to the Yellow ground service panel.
(2) Open the access panel 134AR or 154AR to get access to the related control panel.
(3) Unlock the FWD or aft cargo-compartment door (referred to as cargo door) as follows:
(a) Push the handle flap in to release the door handle from the catch of the door structure.
(b) Pull the door handle away and up from the door structure to the fully UNLOCKED position.
Subtask 52-36-00-480-050-A (1) Open the access panel 198CB to get access to the Yellow ground service panel.
(2) Open the access panel 134AR or 154AR to get access to the related control panel.
(3) Unlock the FWD or aft cargo-compartment door (referred to as cargo door) as follows:
(a) Push the handle flap in to release the door handle from the catch of the door structure.
(b) Pull the door handle away and up from the door structure to the fully UNLOCKED position.
C. Installation of the Hoisting Sling
(2) Put the ring of the turnbuckle (5) on the remaining hook of the three-leg sling (4).
(3) Remove the self adhesive disk (3) from the hoisting point (1).
(4) Remove the plastic cap (2) from the hoisting point (1).
(5) Install the ring bolt (7) with the rubber washer (6) in the hoisting point (1).
(6) Tighten the ring bolt (7) with your hand.
(7) Attach the rope (8) to the ring of the ring bolt (7).
(8) Attach the end of the rope (8) to the hook of the turnbuckle (5).
(9) Carefully operate the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) until the leg of the hoisting sling is in tension.
4. ProcedureNOTE: The hoisting sling of the cargo door (PN 98A52008509040) is a part of the 98A52008509000 SLING-UNIVERSAL,DOORS. The hoisting sling includes the three-leg sling (PN 98A52008509104), the turnbuckle (PN 98A52008509100), the rope (PN 98A52008509504) and the ring bolt (PN 98A52008509102).
(1) Attach the ring of the three-leg sling (4) to the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) and put two of the three hooks on the ring. (2) Put the ring of the turnbuckle (5) on the remaining hook of the three-leg sling (4).
(3) Remove the self adhesive disk (3) from the hoisting point (1).
(4) Remove the plastic cap (2) from the hoisting point (1).
(5) Install the ring bolt (7) with the rubber washer (6) in the hoisting point (1).
(6) Tighten the ring bolt (7) with your hand.
(7) Attach the rope (8) to the ring of the ring bolt (7).
(8) Attach the end of the rope (8) to the hook of the turnbuckle (5).
(9) Carefully operate the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) until the leg of the hoisting sling is in tension.

A. Bleeding of the Door Hydraulic System
(1) Move the lever of the selector valve on the control panel to the OPEN position and hold it until the cargo door is fully opened. At the same time, operate the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) as necessary.
(2) Release the lever of the selector valve and move it to the CLOSE position and hold it until the cargo door is closed. At the same time, operate the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) as necessary.
(3) Do steps (1) and (2) ten times to bleed the door hydraulic system correctly.
5. Close-up(1) Move the lever of the selector valve on the control panel to the OPEN position and hold it until the cargo door is fully opened. At the same time, operate the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) as necessary.
(2) Release the lever of the selector valve and move it to the CLOSE position and hold it until the cargo door is closed. At the same time, operate the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) as necessary.
(3) Do steps (1) and (2) ten times to bleed the door hydraulic system correctly.

A. Removal of the Hoisting Sling
(1) Remove the end of the rope (8) from the hook of the turnbuckle (5).
(2) Remove the rope (8) from the ring of the ring bolt (7).
(3) Remove the ring of the turnbuckle (5) from the hook of the three-leg sling (4).
(4) Remove the ring bolt (7) and the rubber washer (6) from the hoisting point (1).
(5) Remove the ring of the three-leg sling (4) from the CRANE 200KG (440 LB).
(6) Install the plastic cap (2) and the self adhesive disk (3) in the hoisting point (1).
Subtask 52-36-00-410-050-A (1) Remove the end of the rope (8) from the hook of the turnbuckle (5).
(2) Remove the rope (8) from the ring of the ring bolt (7).
(3) Remove the ring of the turnbuckle (5) from the hook of the three-leg sling (4).
(4) Remove the ring bolt (7) and the rubber washer (6) from the hoisting point (1).
(5) Remove the ring of the three-leg sling (4) from the CRANE 200KG (440 LB).
(6) Install the plastic cap (2) and the self adhesive disk (3) in the hoisting point (1).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the applicable cargo door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Close the access panel 198CB.
(3) Close the access panel(s) 134AR and/or 154AR.
