A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that cargo compartment door 825 or 826 is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the applicable cargo compartment door.
(3) Remove the related access panel(s) from the applicable cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-31-14-000-801) and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-14-000-801).

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-35-13-020-052-A

A. Removal of Proximity Switch 5MJ or 12MJ

Proximity Switch

(1) Remove the proximity switch (3) from the applicable cargo compartment-door structure as follows:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the proximity switch (3).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Remove the screws (2) and the proximity switch (3) from the bracket (4).
(2) Remove the target (7) from the control lever (6) of the locking shaft (10) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (9), the washers (8), the target (7) and the bolts (5) from the control lever (6).
