Removal of the Seat/Wall-Mounted Emergency-Exit Location-Light
WARNING:
ISOLATE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS FROM THE RELATED EQUIPMENT AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
CAUTION:
DO NOT DISCONNECT THE CONNECTOR DURING OPERATION. ARCING CAN DAMAGE THE CONTACT PINS.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for all the seat/wall-mounted emergency-exit location-lights.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL on overhead panel 25VU is set to the OFF position.
(2) Make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light on forward attendant panel 120RH are off.

Subtask 33-51-18-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Seat-Mounted Emergency-Exit Location-Light (AIRSIGNA-LED)
(1) Release the two attachment clips (1) and remove the light housing (2) from the related passenger seat or wall panel.
(2) Identify the electrical connectors (3) before you disconnect them.
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the light housing (2).
Subtask 33-51-18-020-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Release the two attachment clips (1) and remove the light housing (2) from the related passenger seat or wall panel.
(2) Identify the electrical connectors (3) before you disconnect them.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Support the light housing (2) and disconnect the electrical connectors (3). (4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the light housing (2).
B. Removal of the Wall-Mounted Emergency-Exit Location-Light (Edge-Light)
(1) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (5).
(2) Carefully pull out the light housing (6) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (7).
(3) Identify the electrical connectors (7) before you disconnect them.
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Remove the light housing (6).
(1) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (5).
(2) Carefully pull out the light housing (6) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (7).
(3) Identify the electrical connectors (7) before you disconnect them.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
