WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FOR AT LEAST 2 MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.

WARNING: WEAR GLASSES AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE LIGHT. THE LAMP IS PRESSURIZED AND AN EXPLOSION CAN OCCUR.

NOTE: This procedure is only applicable for LED technology wing and engine scan light.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 230.

A. Removal of the LED Module of the Wing and Engine Scan Light
(1) Remove the six screws (1).
(2) Remove the lens (2) from the wing and engine scan light (6).
(3) Remove the two screws (9).
(4) Remove the LED module (8) from the wing and engine scan light (6).
(5) Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the LED module (8).
(6) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Remove the two bushings (7).

B. Installation of the LED module of the Wing and Engine Scan Light
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Install the two bushings (7) on the wing and engine scan light (6).
(4) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the LED module (8).
(5) Make sure that the two bushings (7) are in the correct position.
(6) Install the new AIPC 33-49-11-01-030 LED MODULE (8) in the wing and engine scan light (6).
(7) Install the two screws (9) and tighten them.
(8) Install the lens (2) on the wing and engine scan light (6) in the correct position.
(a) Put the lens (2) with the pin (4) in the pin hole (3).
(9) Install the six screws (1) and tighten them.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Do the operational test of the wing and engine scan light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-49-00-710-001).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
