A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position in zone 230.
   (2) Make sure that the sidewall panel is removed in the forward passenger compartment:
     (a) FOR [3LX] (LT-WING & ENG SCAN, L)
231KW.
     (b) FOR [4LX] (LT-WING & ENG SCAN, R)
232KW.
   (3) Make sure that the thermal and acoustic insulation is removed in zone 231/232.
4. Procedure
Subtask 33-49-11-914-050-A
A. Installation of a sealant
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the used sealant from the aircraft structure with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (4) Clean the aircraft structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (5) Install the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) between the wing and engine scan light (1) and the structure (3) of the aircraft.

B. Installation of the Wing and Engine Scan Light
   (1) Inside the forward passenger compartment, install the new wing and engine scan light (1).
   (2) Remove the CAP - BLANKING and connect the movable connector (4) to the light (1).
   (3) Outside the aircraft, tighten the 16 screws (2) which attach the wing and engine scan light (1) to the aircraft structure (3).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

   (1) Do the operational test of the Wing and Engine Scan Lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-49-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the thermal and acoustic insulation in zones 231/232.
   (2) Install the sidewall panel in the forward passenger compartment:
     (a) FOR [3LX] (LT-WING & ENG SCAN, L)
231KW.
     (b) FOR [4LX] (LT-WING & ENG SCAN, R)
232KW.
   (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
