A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) For the upper anti-collision light:

Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) in position at the upper anti-collision light.

(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the anti-collision lights.

4. Procedure
Subtask 33-48-00-960-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Replacement of the Lens of the Anti-Collision Light
(1) FOR [7LV] (ANTI COLLISION LIGHT)
(a) Remove the screws (1) and (2) of the lens (3).
1 Make marks on the screws (1) and (2) and/or their positions to help with the installation procedure (different screw dimensions).
(b) Remove and discard the lens (3) of the anti-collision light.
(c) Remove and discard the seal (4).
(d) Install a new AIPC 33-48-11-01-010 LENS (3) with a new AIPC 33-48-11-01-020 SEAL (4) on the fuselage (5) with the screws (1) and (2).
1 Refer to the marks made during the removal procedure to install the screws (1) and (2) in the correct positions.
2 Tighten the screws (1) and (2).
(2) FOR [6LV] (ANTI COLLISION LIGHT)
(a) Remove the screws (2) and (6) of the lens (3).
1 Make marks on the screws (2) and (6) and/or their positions to help with the installation procedure (different screw dimensions).
(b) Remove and discard the lens (3) of the anti-collision light.
(c) Remove and discard the seal (4).
(d) Install a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-010 LENS (3) with a new AIPC 33-48-12-01-030 SEAL (4) on the fuselage (5) with the screws (2) and (6).
1 Refer to the marks made during the removal procedure to install the screws (2) and (6) in the correct positions.
2 Tighten the screws (2) and (6).

B. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the anti-collision/strobe lighting (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-00-710-002).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
