B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft fuselage is in the horizontal position.
(2) If not, do the precise leveling (Ref. AMM TASK 08-22-00-200-001).

A. Adjustment of the Turnoff Light with the Tool
(2) Set the clinometer to an angle of 0 deg. +/-2 minutes. Put it against the tool (3) to make sure that the installation is horizontal.
(3) Adjust the tool (3) if necessary and tighten the nuts (2).
(4) Angular adjustment of the turnoff light
(a) Set the clinometer to an angle of 2 deg. 30 minutes +/-2 minutes (nose down).
(b) Put the clinometer on the applicable zone of the tool, perpendicular to the light and attach it with the STRAP - ATTACHMENT.
(c) Loosen the nuts (1), move the light to get the angle of 2 deg. 30 minutes +/-2 minutes.
(d) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.75 and 0.6 m.daN (66.37 and 53.10 lbf.in )
and make sure that the adjustment is correct.
(e) Remove the clinometer and the 98D33403502000 ADJUSTING TOOL-TURN OFF LIGHT.
5. Close-upNOTE: This procedure is only applicable for the NLG leg assembly with adjustable support assembly for the Runway Turnoff Light.
(1) Install the 98D33403502000 ADJUSTING TOOL-TURN OFF LIGHT (3) on the light. (2) Set the clinometer to an angle of 0 deg. +/-2 minutes. Put it against the tool (3) to make sure that the installation is horizontal.
(3) Adjust the tool (3) if necessary and tighten the nuts (2).
(4) Angular adjustment of the turnoff light
(a) Set the clinometer to an angle of 2 deg. 30 minutes +/-2 minutes (nose down).
(b) Put the clinometer on the applicable zone of the tool, perpendicular to the light and attach it with the STRAP - ATTACHMENT.
(c) Loosen the nuts (1), move the light to get the angle of 2 deg. 30 minutes +/-2 minutes.
(d) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.75 and 0.6 m.daN (66.37 and 53.10 lbf.in )
and make sure that the adjustment is correct. (e) Remove the clinometer and the 98D33403502000 ADJUSTING TOOL-TURN OFF LIGHT.
