B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is on a horizontal surface.
(2) Do a precise leveling (Ref. AMM TASK 08-22-00-200-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the aircraft is on a horizontal surface.

A. Adjustment of the Runway Turnoff Light
(2) Turn the screen (2) 45 deg. away from the aircraft axis (with the nose landing gear as a rotation axis).
(a) Measure the distance "X" between the aircraft centerline and the ground. To do this, measure the distance between one of the leveling triangles and the ground.
(c) Loosen the nuts (1), and move the light to adjust the light beam on the target.
(d) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.75 and 0.6 m.daN (66.37 and 53.10 lbf.in )
and make sure that the adjustment is correct.
5. Close-upNOTE: This procedure is only applicable for the NLG leg assembly with adjustable support assembly for the Runway Turnoff Light.
(1) Install the LOCALLY MANUFACTURED - ADAPTER (2) in front of the aircraft. The distance between the screen and the nose landing gear must be 10 m (32.81 ft.). (2) Turn the screen (2) 45 deg. away from the aircraft axis (with the nose landing gear as a rotation axis).
NOTE: The screen can be a wooden board with a minimum height of 3 m (9.84 ft.) and a minimum width of 2 m (6.56 ft.).
(3) Angular adjustment of the runway turn off light (a) Measure the distance "X" between the aircraft centerline and the ground. To do this, measure the distance between one of the leveling triangles and the ground.
NOTE: To get an accurate distance, the aircraft must be on a horizontal surface.
(b) Subtract the vertical value 3.091 m (10.14 ft.) from the distance "X". This gives you the value "Y" which is the distance between the ground and the target on the screen. You must adjust the light beam to the center of the target. (c) Loosen the nuts (1), and move the light to adjust the light beam on the target.
(d) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.75 and 0.6 m.daN (66.37 and 53.10 lbf.in )
and make sure that the adjustment is correct. Subtask 33-43-11-865-061-A
