Subtask 33-24-11-020-058-A
A. Removal of the Ballast Unit with Lampholder and the Fluorescent Tube
(1) Remove the fluorescent tube (4):
(a) If installed, release the quick release fasteners (6).
(b) Lower and remove the fluorescent lamp cover (5).
(c) Push the slide-button (3) and remove the fluorescent tube (4).
(2) Remove the ballast unit with lampholder (2):
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Remove the screws (7), the washers (8) and the ballast unit with lampholder (2) from the lavatory structure.
(1) Remove the fluorescent tube (4):
(a) If installed, release the quick release fasteners (6).
(b) Lower and remove the fluorescent lamp cover (5).
(c) Push the slide-button (3) and remove the fluorescent tube (4).
(2) Remove the ballast unit with lampholder (2):
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1). (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Remove the screws (7), the washers (8) and the ballast unit with lampholder (2) from the lavatory structure.
