Removal of the Map Table Light Rheostats

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.

4. Procedure
Subtask 33-12-18-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Map Table Light and Control Box
(1) Remove the control box:
(a) Remove the button (5) of the rheostat.
(b) Remove the screw (6) and the cover (4).
(c) Disconnect the cable (2).
(d) Remove the four attaching screws (14) and the four washers (13).
(e) Pull the control box holder (12) out of its housing.
(f) Disconnect the female terminal lugs (16) from the male terminal lugs (15).
(2) Remove the Map Table Light:
(a) Remove the screw (10).
(b) Remove the cover (9).
(c) Remove the screws (7) and (8).
(d) Remove the support (11) of the reading light with the cable (2).
