A. Deactivation of the Brake Temperature Sensor
(2) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the two electrical connectors.
(3) Clean the electrical connector (2) of the brake temperature sensor and apply two or three turns of TAPE - ADHESIVE around the electrical connector (2).
(4) Tightly wind 3 or 4 turns of lockwire-corrosion resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) around the tape on the electrical connector (2).Twist the lockwire and put it through the nearest locking hole.
5. Close-upWARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the brake temperature sensor (1). (2) Put the CAP - BLANKING on the two electrical connectors.
(3) Clean the electrical connector (2) of the brake temperature sensor and apply two or three turns of TAPE - ADHESIVE around the electrical connector (2).
(4) Tightly wind 3 or 4 turns of lockwire-corrosion resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) around the tape on the electrical connector (2).Twist the lockwire and put it through the nearest locking hole.
NOTE: Make sure that the lockwire cannot rub when the landing gear operates.
