Removal of the NLG Aft Door-Assembly for Access
This procedure is only applicable when the NLG aft door-assembly is removed for access. For the procedure applicable to the removal of the NLG aft door-assembly for replacement, refer to TASK 32-22-13-000-001.

Removal of the NLG Aft Door-Assembly for Access
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR ARE CLEAR.
1. Reason for the JobThis procedure is only applicable when the NLG aft door-assembly is removed for access. For the procedure applicable to the removal of the NLG aft door-assembly for replacement, refer to TASK 32-22-13-000-001.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) In the cockpit, on panel 400VU, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control-lever.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
4. Procedure(1) In the cockpit, on panel 400VU, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control-lever.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.

A. Removal of the NLG Aft Door-Assembly
(2) Remove the bonding braids (12) and (4).
(3) Remove the cotter pin (19) and discard it.
(4) Remove the nut (20) and the washer (21).
(5) Remove the bolt (23) and release the door (22) from its connection to the rotating rod (1).
(6) Remove the cotter pin (16) and discard it.
(7) Remove the nut (17), washer (15) and bolt (13).
(9) Remove the nut (6), washer (7) and bolt (10).
(10) Remove the door (22).
(11) Remove the bushes (8) and (9) from the aft hinge of the door (22).
(12) Remove the bush (14) from the aircraft structure fitting.
Subtask 32-22-13-020-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Do not change the adjustment of the rotating rod (1).
(1) Remove the nuts (18) and (2) and the bolts (11) and (3). (2) Remove the bonding braids (12) and (4).
(3) Remove the cotter pin (19) and discard it.
(4) Remove the nut (20) and the washer (21).
(5) Remove the bolt (23) and release the door (22) from its connection to the rotating rod (1).
(6) Remove the cotter pin (16) and discard it.
(7) Remove the nut (17), washer (15) and bolt (13).
NOTE: Keep the door (22) in position to help you remove the second hinge assembly.
(8) Remove the cotter pin (5) and discard it. (9) Remove the nut (6), washer (7) and bolt (10).
(10) Remove the door (22).
(11) Remove the bushes (8) and (9) from the aft hinge of the door (22).
(12) Remove the bush (14) from the aircraft structure fitting.
A. Removal of the Aft Door Assy
(2) Remove the bonding braids (15) and (5).
(3) Remove the nuts (2), the jumpers (11) and (17) and the bolts (13).
(4) Remove the cotter pin (23) and discard it, remove the nut (24) and the washer (25).
(5) Remove the bolt (27) and release the door (26) from its connection to the rotating rod (1).
(6) Remove the cotter pin (20) and discard it, remove the nut (21), the bolt (16), the washer (18) and the two shouldered bushes (19).
(8) Remove the door (26).
NOTE: Do not change the adjustment of the rotating rod (1).
(1) Remove the nuts (22) and (3) and the bolts (14) and (4). (2) Remove the bonding braids (15) and (5).
(3) Remove the nuts (2), the jumpers (11) and (17) and the bolts (13).
(4) Remove the cotter pin (23) and discard it, remove the nut (24) and the washer (25).
(5) Remove the bolt (27) and release the door (26) from its connection to the rotating rod (1).
(6) Remove the cotter pin (20) and discard it, remove the nut (21), the bolt (16), the washer (18) and the two shouldered bushes (19).
NOTE: Keep the door (26) in position to help you to remove the second hinge assembly.
(7) Remove the cotter pin (6) and discard it, remove the nut (7), the bolt (12), the washer (10) and the bushes (8) and (9). (8) Remove the door (26).
